Shell's Fuel Rewards program allows customers to save money on gas through everyday purchases. Customers can earn rewards by shopping online, dining, buying groceries, and purchasing specially marked convenience store products, car washes, and auto services at participating Shell stations. To earn rewards, customers must use a Fuel Rewards card, an Alt ID, or a credit or debit card opted into Link & Save. Customers can also earn rewards by linking their Fuel Rewards card to other loyalty programs, such as Winn-Dixie, BI-LO, and Stop & Shop. To use the Fuel Rewards program at Shell stations, you can either use a Fuel Rewards card or an Alt ID.
Using the Fuel Rewards Card
To get a Fuel Rewards card, you can either pick one up at a Shell station and link it to your account or request one to be mailed to you when you sign up. You can also use the Fuel Rewards mobile app or go to the Manage Cards page and click on "Add Card" to get a new card. Once you have a card, you can swipe it at the pump at any participating Shell station. If you pay inside, present the card to the attendant.
Using the Alt ID
To use an Alt ID, you must first set one up in your account profile. You will need to provide your mobile phone number to create a new Alt ID. When you are at the pump, select "Rewards" and then "Fuel Rewards" or "FRN". Then, key in your Alt ID before you pay. Your Alt ID is either your 10-digit phone number or your 10-digit phone number plus your PIN. After entering your Alt ID, insert your credit or debit card to finish the transaction. You can also redeem your rewards inside the convenience store by asking the attendant.
Using the Fuel Rewards Program at Shell
As a Fuel Rewards member, you can save money on fuel at Shell stations in several ways. You can save 10¢/gal on every fill-up with Platinum Status, 5¢/gal with Gold Status, or 3¢/gal with Silver Status. To earn Platinum, Gold, or Silver status, you must be a Fuel Rewards member and swipe your Fuel Rewards card, a linked payment card, or enter your Alt ID when fuelling at a participating Shell station. A qualifying fuel purchase trip is any fuel purchase where you swipe your Fuel Rewards card or enter your Alt ID and fill up with at least 10 gallons of any grade of fuel.
Platinum status members will receive 10 ¢/gal in Fuel Rewards savings on every fill-up at participating Shell stations.
