The prices for fuel on a Bennett Pump can either be set manually at the pump or can be set to come down from the Ruby.

To set the prices manually, you will need to use the Manager's Keypad. This keypad is used to program the 3000 series retail dispenser and is shipped with each dispenser. To enter the Manager (programming) mode, simultaneously press and hold the "Cancel" and "Enter" buttons on the Manager's Keypad for 3 seconds. Once in this mode, you can access the various Menu Codes to program the pump.

Setting unit prices on a Wayne Ovation dispenser

The following procedure is used to set the unit prices on a Wayne Ovation dispenser when operating in stand-alone mode or when communication with the POS system is disabled. When communication with the POS system is enabled, the system will not allow unit price setting at the dispenser.

Setting the Unit Price

• Access the Unit Price Sub-function for Side 1 by entering the password, pressing ENTER, then 03 to access F03, then ENTER again.
• Press ENTER to access the sub-functions of F03. The unit price display will show 3.01.
• Press NEXT to advance to the next sub-function and increment the value of N by .01. For example, to access F3.02, press NEXT once; the unit price display will show 3.02. Press NEXT again.
• The desired sub-function depends on the dispenser type. Refer to Table 3-1 in the manual for the values of N that define the desired sub-functions for the dispenser model.
• Once the desired sub-function is accessed, the price display will show "-" and the volume display will show the current value of the unit price.
• Type in the new unit price with at least three digits for three money display digits to be shown after the decimal point. For example, to set the new unit price to $1.50, type in 1500. Type in 1509 for a $1.509 unit price.
• Save the new unit price.

• The pump computer recognises the code stored in memory that defines a dispenser model and assigns logical nozzle numbers to the hose positions.
• Credit prices on side 1 are set using sub-functions F03.0N while cash prices are set using sub-functions F03.1N, where N is the logical nozzle number.
• For side 2, the corresponding sub-functions are F04.0N and F04.1N, respectively.
• Dispensers contain an extra pair of data wires in the junction box for Wayne TRAC.
• Dispensers with the letter I in the model number will have an intercom call button.
