If you've lost your Fuel Rewards card or had it stolen, you can contact the Fuel Rewards Member Support team to request a replacement. You can also pick up a new Fuel Rewards card at a Shell station and link it to your account, or request one to be mailed to you when you sign up.

Using a Fuel Rewards card

The Fuel Rewards program is a free loyalty program that offers members cents-per-gallon savings at the pump. To get started, you can either pick up a Fuel Rewards card at a Shell station or request one to be mailed to you when you sign up. You can then link the card to your account.

Once you have your card, you can start earning rewards by shopping and dining with participating retailers, restaurants, grocery stores, and Shell convenience stores. You can also earn rewards by using a linked MasterCard.

When you're ready to redeem your rewards, simply swipe your Fuel Rewards card or enter your member ID at the pump. If you pay inside, present your Fuel Rewards card or member ID to the attendant. You can also redeem your rewards inside the convenience store before starting your fuel transaction.

It's important to note that Fuel Rewards savings do expire, so be sure to check your balance and expiration dates online, via text, or through the mobile app.

Additionally, you can also use your phone number, known as an Alt ID, to redeem your Fuel Rewards savings. To set up your Alt ID, you'll need to provide your mobile phone number and create a 4-digit PIN. When prompted at the pump, select "Rewards," then "Fuel Rewards" or "FRN," and key in your Alt ID before making your payment.

Using an Alt ID

When you are at a participating Shell station, you can redeem your Fuel Rewards® savings by entering your Alt ID at the pump. If you have set up a PIN, you will need to enter your 10-digit phone number followed by your PIN. After entering your Alt ID, you can insert your credit or debit card to finish the transaction.

You can also redeem your Fuel Rewards® savings inside the convenience store. Simply ask the attendant to apply your savings to the transaction.

Additionally, you can check your reward balance by texting "BALANCE" to 83835, or you can find out your Alt ID by texting "ALTID" to the same number.

It is important to note that your Alt ID is different from your Fuel Rewards® card, which is a physical card that can be picked up at a Shell station and linked to your Fuel Rewards® account. With the card, you can swipe it at the pump to access your rewards and lower your fuel price.

Using the Fuel Rewards app

The Fuel Rewards app can be used to link a credit or debit card to your Fuel Rewards account. This allows you to save at the pump with a single swipe. To link your card, open the app and go to the "Manage Cards" page. Enter your card details and enable Link & Save™. When you fill up at a participating Shell station, skip the prompts at the pump and swipe your linked card to access your rewards and lower your fuel price.

The app also allows you to access exclusive limited-time offers, view your earned and in-progress rewards, and find Shell stations and fuel prices.

To take advantage of these features, you will need to add your phone number to your profile. You can then text BALANCE to 83835 for your reward balance and text ALTID to 83835 for your Alt ID.

You can also subscribe to text notifications to stay up-to-date with the latest promotions and offers. If you would prefer not to receive push notifications, you can change the setting on your phone so that push notices only appear in the app message box.

To find offers near you, ensure that you have a data connection via your wireless carrier or Wi-Fi. If you are still unable to find nearby offers, you may be in an area with limited sites participating in the Fuel Rewards program. Try expanding your search area or contact the support team for further assistance.

To protect your data, make sure that your software is up-to-date and be cautious when it comes to email attachments and web links. It is also important to use strong and unique passwords.

Using a phone number

To change your Fuel Rewards card number using your phone number, you must first set up an Alt ID. This can be done by providing your mobile phone number in your account profile. You can then use your Alt ID, which is your 10-digit phone number, or your 10-digit phone number plus a 4-digit PIN of your choice, to redeem your Fuel Rewards savings.
