Changing Carburetor Fuel Filter In 1983 Chevrolet S10 Trucks

If you own a 1983 Chevrolet S10, you may need to change the carburetor fuel filter at some point. The fuel filter is located inside the fuel inlet nut at the base of the carburetor, closest to the firewall. The purpose of the fuel filter is to trap sediments from getting into the engine. Installing the new fuel filter

To install the new fuel filter in your 1983 Chevrolet S10, follow these steps:

Firstly, locate the fuel filter under the cab of the truck on the driver's side. You will find it in a round bracket under the driver-side inside of the frame rail. Next, slide the new fuel filter into this round bracket.
